Techneterra’s Water Sensitive Paper (WSP) is a high-sensitivity, professional-grade diagnostic tool designed to visually detect spray coverage and droplet distribution inreal-world agricultural applications

Unlike general-purpose paper, WSP provides instant visual evidence of application quality, enabling precise calibration, reduced chemical waste, and improved leaf surface coverage across different spray technologies. Use it to verify and optimize applications from electrostatic backpacks such as Agristatic E15l and E20L), autonomous robots (TT-R), conventional sprayers in open field and protected agriculture.
How it works?
Each WSP strip is coated with a proprietary blend of ferric chloride and water-reactive dye that instantly turns deep blue Prussian spots when contacted by water droplets. This reaction occurs on impact and allows you to analyze coverage density, droplet size, spray uniformity, and potential drift.
Z Because it’s highly sensitive to droplet distribution, WSP is ideal for testing nozzle performance, optimizing spray angles, and validating real-life conditions without complex instruments.

Why professionals rely on WSP

High sensitivity
Detects droplets as small as 50 microns

Precision
Helps fine-tune equipment settings for optimal performance

Traceability
Provides photographic documentation for QA reports

Ease of use
Deploys quickly in field with no tools required

Durable
Long shelf life up to 18 months when stored properly

Cost-effective
Measurable results with minimal investment

Using Techneterra’s WSP strips completely changed the way we validate our spray applications. We used them during field trials for both electrostatic backpacks and our autonomous spraying unit, and the visual feedback was immediate and powerful.
It gave our team the confidence to optimize nozzles, reduce drift, and improve leaf surface coverage. These cards are now part of our standard QA process.
